Also saying those 4 games are bigger then Final Fantasy is just, really dumb, considering Final Fantasy even on it's lowest days matches or exceeds each of those franchises sales. Aside from MAG which is a complete unknown without any gameplay footage... and doesn't even have sales.

i mentioned in another post why sony is doing this.
Sony will be making money off of this deal since they own about a tenth of S-E.
Sony wil be saving money on console sales since they lose a ton on every one.
Not to say that they shouldn't be selling consoles, but that at the moment things are not very lucrative.
I'm sure that after this game comes out they will be either making slight profit on a 400$ ps3 or losing 50-100 on a discounted ps3.
It seems to be more of a business deal, and frankly i'm sure that ff14 will be sony only. Sony is just cutting corners right now and you should be there helping them out buying quality games that have recently come out like MGS4, FiFA Euro, and coming soon Soul Calibur. Good games are out there, you play them, and you'll get better games, and more exclusives.

How does Square Enix accepting money from Microsoft make you less of a fan of the PlayStation?  Sony does not buy 3rd party eclusives!  They will heavily assist in the development, if necessary, but they do not throw money at developers.  Eventually there will be no such thing as 3rd Party exclusives, as it is not fiscally responsible for any 3rd party to make exclusive games.

I'm glad your keeping your PS3. I was about to tell you if you thought what happened to Sony and what S-E did was bad. What your about to do is worse.

Yea sony is doing really garbage this E3 because we are sharing another game with the other camp, even though ff is gonna be in inferior hardware, multiple discs, butchered sound... yea sony fails big time, even though they released the promised video store immediately, with exclusive content like Xam'd Lost Memories... yea Sony lost big time, even though they keep patching the ps3 every so often, bringing new features like ingame xmb, a revised psn store and release psn exclusive titles that are fun and unique like echochrome, pixeljunk games.., they announced a 256 player online shooter, no extra fees, but that blows because we are sharing another game right? and we're getting valkyria chronicles, white knight, and FFXIII on blu ray regardless. I know, sony failed us :P
