I'm very curious to see what Nintendo does this year. Last year was all about bringing in the mass market and getting them into games. So this year do they:

Introduce more 'non'-games? (Wii Music?)
Introduce more 'bridge'-games? (Mario Golf?)
Focus on more core games? (Animal Crossing?)

Or a combination of each.

At least we can expect to see more Wario Land Shake and Captain Rainbow... whee...

This year's theme is definitely "bridge games." What that means exactly I'm not really sure: AC: City Folk (?) is accessible while still having lots of depth, so I suppose it qualifies. But we're also getting Pikmin 3. Does that count? Star Fox is easy to get into (shoot-'em-up) while still being somewhat complex: will it show? Even after spending hours and hours poring through their line-up, I have to admit I'm not completely certain I understand Nintendo's plans.

@Shameless: Actually, I'm pretty sure they intend to promote Super Sluggers a lot there too, and Kirby will either debut there or at TGS. Don't forget about Kid Icarus, either. And while I'm not sold on the new Zelda theory (unless it was handed off to another team), I'd be alright with being wrong. No, if there's an unnanounced sequel coming, it'll probably be Star Fox.

I actually think we'll see Donkey Kong Country 4 for WiiWare.

That'd be a brilliant business decision on Nintendo's part: advertise it (and the how-to-get-online hotlines) and watch the WiiWare and VC money roll in. Maybe the way NoA will actually start releasing games for it again!

after how well NSMB did on DS, i'd hope Nintendo is working on a similiar game for the Wii...

i'd be happy with it in one of 2 formats:

a) wii ware - every 6 months release new levels, so we get our fix in 2x/year...maybe 5 hours or so for $10, rinse & repeat

b) full wii game - lasts 20+ hours for standard $50

Bets:Missed by 420k I bet leo-j vg$500 that wii will sell 31 million by 7/31/08.  Sorry, I don't think he has enough vg$ to make it with all of u that wish you could. Hit, with room to spare I bet kingofwale a 1-week ban that wii Americas ltd sales>360 Americas ltd sales as of the numbers for week ending 7/05/08 (using vgchartz homepage #s)

Predictions:

Wii will sell 18-20mil by 12/31/07  CHECKWii will sell 45mil+ WW by 12/31/08Wii will surpass PS2 sales WW by 11/17/11 (5yr anniversary)Wii Fit will hit 12mil sales in 2009MKWii+SSBB+Wii Fit+SMG > 50 mil sales by 2010 > gta4+mgs+gt5+ff13+haze+lbp

I'm fairly certain that we will not see a DKC 4 for WiiWare.

They made a 2D Wario Game for the full retail price.

Then they have DK, which has at least twice the selling capacity, and probably more.

Why would they make it WiiWare? That would be the same as asking to not get money.

But again, we should see a main 2D platformer for WiiWare soon, if Miyamoto is to be trusted.

He talked about going back to the roots and make a 1 man game again.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

I think The Conduit is the most anticipated game on the Wii. I heard it will be presented at E3 and it will be playable. Check out this amazing video.

Where'd you hear the bolded? Because for that to be true, High Voltage would have had to select one of the 39 companies as a publisher.
