u my friend are crazy... the 360 fan boys have shut up beacuse they realized 360 didn't compare. And no im not a ps3 fanboy I was however a 360 fan boy UNTIL i got a ps3 aswell..

The way I see it, there are fanboys from each camp causing no end of troubles and I'd not go so far as to say that fans of one system are less intelligent than others. The problem, I think, is not with the fans of each system, it is rather the hate between them and the childish bickering that ensues now and then over trivial matters. I'd also refrain from describing PS3 fans as borderline psychotic over other console fans, it seems like a very broad generalization of a big and varied bunch of users.
Strictly speaking, most console buyers are grown up males and they would represent the majority of a console's fanbase in most cases.

I just don't see how you think to achieve betterment by diving right in and offending a large number of people and claim special rights and/or insight simply on the basis of liking a competing system (it makes you seem more similar to those you accuse which is hardly something you desire), it seems to be just another step in a perpetual cycle if you ask me.
I do think everyone will give you the benefit of doubt though (I know I will, I welcome new users, especially the more grown up kind that won't litter the frontpage with dozens of meaningless threads constantly), I also felt like I knew everyone after I had lurked for a while but it takes a little effort to get into the tone of the forums.

Feel free to tell someone if they cross a line in any kind of way, a high post count doesn't mean a user is smarter or has more grounds for judging others.

Get used to it because we are not longer in 2007 when PS fans had to take alot of shit when PS3 sold on par with 360. But this year PS3 is selling 50k more in weekly basis then xbox360 and future is looking great. You will see alot of xbox fans here when 360 start selling on par with PS3 again but thats unluckly now.

I guess at the end of the day, 360 fans like Starcraft report THE TRUTH - Yes its written in a way that makes the 360 look good, but he doesn't make these harsh digs that a massive number of PS3 fans do.

i would post alot more in vgc , if it wasnt for the fanboys on all sides. but from the time i found this site till the time i joined this site, i have found that the xb 360 gets attacked the most and its attacks are from the fanboys of the ps3. i have both systems and like them both very much, i like the xb 360 for the fps and the rpg's, and the ps3 for blu-ray movies and some fps. sony/ps3 fanboys that are members of this site can say this isnt the truth which they will of course but if u have a unbiased mind, then anyone can see this is fact and not just opinion. the xb 360 has its mistakes like rrod and some live problems during this past christmas but the ps3 has its equal share of problems like not knowing how to market their system 1st its a mulit media device, then its a game machine, also not testing their updates enough where it bricks alot of systems and causes alot of other problems. if ppl would just enjoy the system they like and not attack a system they dont own or ever will own, then this site would be alot more civil in maner and discussions would be alot more enjoyable as well.
