Next, call Nintendo saying that a faulty Wii Stand caused it to fall and now it stopped reading discs.

Luego, get it back from Ninty.

well, Nintendo might not fix it for you because it's "physical damage", but can't hurt to give it a try.

If it's something minor like the laser was knocked out of adjustment you could try opening it up and fixing it - I did that with my PS2 when it quit reading discs and it solved the problem. You also might be able to return it as a failed unit as long as there's no obvious sign of the console being dropped, or have it repaired under warranty.  I don't know what Nintendo's repair policies are, but nearly every other warranty for electronics will not repair items that were dropped or given an accidental bath in a puddle.

it only cant read disks,so its possible that it did get knock out of adjustment i will check it tomorrow

Does everything else still work? By which I mean can you still run the channels, VC games, etc? If not, you'll have to send it in. Also try seeing if it reads discs besides Brawl: Brawl's been giving some Wii's problems, for whatever reason.

So it's not just Brawl then...alright, there are two things I want you to try. First, if you have Gamecube games handy, pop one in and see if that works. If it does, then you'll have to send your Wii in for repairs. If it doesn't, try placing the Wii either vertically or horizontally (whichever direction you don't usually have it) and see if that fixes the problem.

Honestly though, I think something's just loose. Do NOT open your Wii, just call 1-800-255-3700 to work out how to send the thing in. Here's hoping that's not necessary, though, and I'll see if I can scrounge up any other tips.
