Wasn't Halo originally going to be an RTS? So this doesn't technically count as a regular spin-off right? Which probably means it has a lot more potential..

A spin-off of Halo series... Might not be fun as if you are losing you will likely wish you could go into first-person of view of Mastercheif again. Lol

I would like to play more RTS, but my computer stinks and also I'm lackluster at the genre; maybe a simplified version would be better for me?

These screens confirm that Halo Wars will sell 3 million IMO. Unlike C&C, Supreme Commander and many other RTS, the environments in Halo Wars don't look flat.

With an X-mote it'll get +90% on Gamerankings and sell 4 million.

Ensemble are the best makers of RTS. Age of Empires II was the best RTS for it's time. The setting was the best possible, it had tons of civilizations and the game had great balance for different strategies in online play.

I still play AoE II weekly, just join me on Gamespy for sum CBF. =)

Those shots do look good. I was going to pass on this game but if they come out with motion controls I may pick it up.

Doesn't look better than StarCraft 2.
