Now that most poeple who have the game know; where did the rumor surface that is was 780?

Probably that it's native 720p, but it's then upscaled to 1080i or 1080p.

not sure, it looks awesome though, and play relatively smoothly.

Which beg the question, what are other developers smoking when they claim PS3 isn't powerful enough for their much more inferior games running much worse engine?

I don't know what the native resolution is, but the signal coming into my tv is definitely 1080p. That said, I think it's highly unlikely to be natively 1080p, as it's far too blurry; much like most 720p games, in fact.

So, an unspecified resolution, probably 720p, upscaled by the PS3 to 1080p. Sound right to everyone else?

It's 768p with 2xAA.

Native Resolution doesn't matter when the PS3 upscales it to 1080p.

Anyway, it upscales and looks pretty damn good so whatever.

 but whinning about the system for their bad game coding? That's almost like SK suing Unreal Engine. ;) 

 

Can't sue others for their own incompetence, you know, except if you are the US.
