have you tried dosbox? http://www.dosbox.com/ It takes a cursory knowledge of computer programming (which I assume you have) to use, but it runs all dos games I've thrown at it with no problems. (Duke Nukem ftw!!)
OT: I've never actually seen MGS4, but going from what the reviews said, (and watching the trailers) I'm going to say it has the best graphics of any console game ever. The only game that comes close on a console it GT5:P.
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

well I remember that there was a preview made by one of the ppl that got the chance to beat the game a lil while ago b4 anybody else (there was like 14 ppl) and in that preview they said something along the lines of "you think Gears Of War was impressive in terms of graphics, you haven't seen nothing yet" so I'm guessing that yea ppl made a big deal about the graphics.

You do know that people have seen Crysis on medium settings and MGS4 is a lot better then it.

WHY WEREN'T PS3 fanboys HYPED for the grfx in MGS4....
I think because we knew the gameplay n story would be selling points...not grfx.
also at first grfx didn't seem all that great + we had no idea about the different places in the game -- I mean the ACT 3 grfx are frikking AMAZING!
