OMG, I was rolling on the floor laughing at the intro last night.

It's good to see that MGS writing is just as terrible as ever. "War has changed." BWAHAHAHAHAHAH! *wipes tear from eye* That entire monologue was wretched. B-level movie stuff at best.

The install screen actually had me laughing with Kojima instead of at him, though. Good stuff. It's always the little things in MGS games that impress me the most.

Thank god I just found a copy of this game on craigslist really cheap. I thought I'd have to wait a couple weeks to find cheap used copy, but now I can actually contribute first hand experience to the MGS4 lollerfest.

@StarCraft... disparity in review scores, you sure of that? I mean... it's either got 8, 9, or 10. Not exactly the greatest range of conflicting scores in the world.

I find it funny how people act as if an 8 is a bad score.

That's still a "B" rating, guys.

I'm barely into this game so far but already, I know three things:

1. The writing is still terrible

2. The production values are through the roof

3. The controls are vastly improved over previous entries to the series
