 It's being handled by Dimps, who made Sonic Rush and Rush adventure (good thing?)

3d and 3d sidescrolling

hub areas incorporated into story 

differnent engine from ps3 and 360, but Dimps is trying to replicate ps360 look

both speed AND platforming

 

Wii verision has different stage design and controls from ps360

Tomoya Ohtani is doing the sound track (Sonic Rush soundtrack!) 


So I guess it's official those screenshots were not of of the Wii version!  But this all sounds good so far!

wow sonic rish was a great game

i'm actually excited now

i sorta look down on poor Sonic now

who knows, this may revive the franchise

into... something better lol

i cant wait for sonic chronicles though

They're getting the Sonic Rush team to do the Wii version? Sounds like it may end up being the definitive version. How ironic (or not ironci at all?)

Then I wonder who is responsible for the PS2 version, unless that was never confirmed?

The last 3 good Sonic games were the 2 Rush games on the DS, and Sonic and the Secret Rings. Getting the Rush teams to do a 3D Wii one is a match made in heaven. It will totally destroy the PS360 version.

I'll still be happy if I lose my bet. Now I want this game 10 times more, whether it looks like crap or not. I still think later Wii screenshots will look better than those early screenshots. Besides, if I'm wrong, I'll just kill myself to avoid paying Naz.

I knew those weren't the Wii's graphics. But I'm glad the Wii fans will still get something good from SEGA.
