Yes, I know it means the fandoms will be polluted with the shrieking "Netflix/Amazon r**ed my favourite book" attention seeking martyrs; but meh, I don't really do online fan communities besides this one anyway so it doesn't really bother me.

Cause they are utter dogshit (Witcher being prime example). This applies to Amazon (Wheel of Time and Rings of Power are pure unadulterated crap) and Apple as well (Foundation is terrible, bar for one thing).

My current favorite franchise Forza Horizon has been big since the 3rd game and is the reason Forza Motorsports is pretty much dead now. Forza Motorsports pretty much killed Project Gotham Racing so I guess it's fair that it got killed by another racing game.

Well pretty much any movie or show adaptation of a novel is worse than the original source since they always have to add or delete stuff to make it more entertaining or make it fit a particular run time.
