I think there have been rumors about a new Ape Escape, and talk about Sly Cooper.
So it is not impossible for those.

My sad Franchise picks that are likely never coming back would be (even though they should):

Chrono series, Suikoden, Legend of Dragoon, Breath of Fire, Xenogears.

Alot of old good PS1 games, could do with a reboot or restart of the series.

EarthBound/Mother: I'm referring to a very new game. A remaster, remake, or reimagining remake of any of the games is possible. I don't see a Mother 4.
Chibi-Robo
Project Gotham Racing
Burnout
Chrono
Leisure Suit Larry
Duke Nukem

Damn, already 6 years since Wet Dreams Dry Twice came out? It still feels to me like it came out just 2 or 3 years ago.

We'll find out if Ecco the Dolphin will be back in just over 2 days (54 hours, 42 minutes on the countdown clock): https://www.eccothedolphin.com/en/
The six game series has been gone for a quarter of a century, and the series proper for 31 years... given the sixth game was made by a different team and didn't involve the original creator (Ed Annunziata). Although, we've seen ports in classic compilations and classic console services, and the 3D remaster on 3DS.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Leisure Suit Larry.

Not only are there not likely to be any more new games, but the entire series is being delisted from every storefront.

Because of it's content?

Without even playing any of the games in the series (yet) I can already confidently say that Larry is very tame compared to the stuff some storefronts, e.g. Steam, allow. You can have straight up fetish porn games on Steam no problem.

Then it's silly to remove all of Leisure Suit Larry from storefronts. That's worse than what happened to Earthworm Jim.

Sadly, Dark Cloud. 😔

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Yes. I suspect it's a licensing/rights issue, but I'm not really familiar with the case, and I don't know if information about this is really in the public even for those more familiar with it.
