Looks like it sold much better than I thought it would.
Helldivers II was a high as I remember, like beating Spiderman 2's launch? I think.
And that was on PC and Consoles, where it actually did really well on pc too, while Wolverine was only on Playstation.

There was also news about it being the 11th best selling game, of the year, with less than 2 weeks of tracking sales.
Some of those titles have been out for awhile and did well, so, yeah Wolverine looks like it wasn't a dud.

I'm curious about how it's legs are.... will it keep selling at high rates? Time will tell.
I know the more intune gamers ect, disliked stuff like the difficulty and fart trails (hahaha).... but maybe that stuff doesn't really matter to casuals that much.

Spiderman 2 came out before Helldivers 2, so this actual statement simply means that it made more money in the US than Astrobot, Dead Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei, Tokon and Marathon. Those are the first party games that have been released since then.

Technically it may not of even of outsold Yotei as this is dollar sales and Wolverine may of just sold more deluxe pre-order units which have a higher dollar value than regular units
