Like Elon telling all of us that Grok was created to protect us from other evil AIs. Like, yeah, okay Elon. Okay.

Here's something even more wild from the person that did that Elden Ring one. Just holy shit man.

AI vibe coding is a disaster waiting to happen. Just look at what it did to the original Star Fox. Nothing but crashes and glitches. -_-

It's a problem when someone who doesn't know what they're doing does it. Coding suddenly becoming far more accessible will cause a lot more people to share things that are poorly made but more importantly it's also helping people who know what they're doing do things a lot faster than before so the latter will be making native PC ports of old games a lot quicker now.
Neither Laufey or GTA6 will be playable day 1 becouse Sony patched the hack that let you download game files from the Ps5. To use the store or even play the games your PS5 has to be at the 14.0 OS or higher.
The world belongs to you-Pan America

All that data center poison of the air and water so dumbfucks can play N64 games on a PC broken as shit. Yay! AI!

Models since earlier this year are roughly at parity with or exceeding average human developers, though, while writing code 100x faster. Of course, that's also just a fraction of the overall job of a software engineer.
For complex ports, you'll likely still need an experienced developer for oversight and context, but for how long?

My experience so far is that AI coding is much, much more complex than traditional coding. AI will change things, but it's another tool. And a tool that has added a whole new bookshelf of stuff for people to learn...

I see this type of comment often in response to stuff like a silly AI video that someone posts and it's always nonsensical. Like you surely know by now that AI is involved in loads of different fields at this point but here you're acting as if all the investment in it is somehow solely for native ports of old video games. It's just dishonest.

Less "revolutionised" and more "enshittified".
Endless mindless slop flooding the internet while power bills and electronics prices skyrocket, immense resources are wasted, and almost every aspect of society gets worse.
AI is a plague.
