The co-op adventure is what really makes it for me. Was great fun being able to play through the whole game with a friend. Pretty much the only way I played the game lol.

I played the series a good amount as a kid. I barely touched 2 but played a decent amount of 1 and a lot of 3 it being the only one of the original trilogy I finished. I also played played a couple other ones for example Crash of the Titans. I'd like to return to the original trilogy but am unsure between emulating it or playing the remake since the former would be more nostalgic.

I'm the one bottom right in the photo! I voted for Crash Team Racing on PS1, it's the one I sank the most time into. I absolutely loved this game: a real single-player mode with an actual story, an overworld outside the tracks that was just awesome, different challenges forcing you to replay each track at least 3 times with a different objective each time. The Boss Battles. And chaining slides for extra boost never got old.

Not to mention the graphics, the animation, the sense of speed, and that feeling that the AI doesn't cheat (or barely does). This game clearly surpasses the master (Mario Kart).

Small mention for Crash Bash too, It was a really fun party game! It deserves a remake.

Yeah same goes for the Dreamcast (and Sonic Adventure). That's three major 3D platformers from the 90s all on the same day, spanning three different years lol.

Wait, is this why Crash 4 is having its lowest price ever on Steam (12€ over here, the best price before this has been 20€)? I was wondering why that was, but now it's clear. Anyway, definitely not my favourite Crash game, but now I own it on PC as well...

As for my favourite Crash game, it's got to be between Crash 3 and CTR. The first Crash game suffers from some flaws, mainly a terrible save system and ridiculous challenge bonus levels, and it's a bit simplistics. Crash 2 is a fine game, but I always thought it lacked personality. Crash 3 is too easy, but otherwise it's absolutely awesome (even if I don't love some of the levels). CTR is near perfection, but it feels like it's a different beast entirely, so it's hard to make a proper comparison - and because it's different, I also didn't vote for it. Crash Bash is fun enough but not a top-tier Crash game. I vaguely remember The Wrath of Cortex being quite fun and much like Crash 3, but the horrible loading times really made it much less fun than it otherwise deserved. I'd love a remaster or something though. Crash 4 feels too much like a product, and it's too hard. It's still fun though. Haven't played the other games, and I'm not too sorry about it.

Ain't this an awkward order to tell things, but I remember seeing the Crash 3 trailer on some demo disc or something as a child, and I really wanted it. Of course my mom got us the first Crash game, and I was really disappointed. It was a fun game though, as I said. After it, it was another Crash game - and no, it still wasn't Crash 3 - it was Crash 2. But I think after that, it was finally Crash 3's turn, and it was great. What would have been great too is understanding how those extra-capacity memory cards worked, because the saves always seemed to be lost.

Anyway, what a great series, and what an amazing fall from grace. Absolutely mishandled series after a legendary start.

The original Crash Bandicoot trilogy for PS1 is one of my favorite gaming memories. I never had a PS1, but I played it a lot with my friends.

My favorite is Crash 3, very balanced and a lot of fun to do 100%.

Crash 2 is awesome too, and Crash 1 is very fun, but a bit too hard.
