Also, I played a little of Wrath of Cortex years later, but I wasn't sold on it. As for Crash of the Titans and Mind Over Mutant, I played them back when they were released. Hated the new designs, specially Tiny's. I remember I finished Titans, but I don't remember if finished Mind Over Mutans. Anyways, I just played them bc they were still Crash, but I didn't like the fact they were beat 'em up and not platformers. After that the Crash franchise, much to my sadness, went into a big slumber. And then 2017 came with N.Sane Trilogy. I was hoping we would get more and more Crash games, but the only new game we had was It's About Time.... I don't wanna wait another decade for a brand new platform Crash game!

My only real memories of it were the funny anti Nintendo commercials. I didn't have a PS1, so I tried it years later at which point it was pretty dated.

Tiny's new design in Titans was horrific. He had a completely different voice, personality and design. Wasn't even the same character.

Mind Over Mutant is one of the only crash games I've never played, I did have titans and think I finished it but only ever played it once.

Wrath of Cortex is just a very badly executed Crash 3 lol. They took the template and made a 7/10 game with uglier visuals than the PS1 games lol.

I’ve heard great things about Twinsanity. That’s one I’ve always wanted to check out.Huge fan of the original trilogy though. Never played the OG PS1 version of the games, only N’sane. Again another thing I want get around to playing one day.

It's a very different style of game but I think it is a better game than wrath of cortex.

Similar to how Enter the Dragonfly tried to copy the PS1 games and ended up falling flat, while Heroes Tail changed things up and was a better game imo.

Both Twinsanity and Heroes Tail feel less like the original trilogy but both are much more competent games than the attempted copies of the original style that came before.

I was eight when the original was released. I have good memories of the first three games from back then. I managed to finish the first two several times on original hardware when I was about 19-20 and (re)buying a fair few PS1 games. Never did finish 3 though - didn't enjoy all the vehicles and time trials.

Also spent many hours playing multiplayer on Team Racing (remember the multitap?)

I love Twinsanity so much that I bought the original game, even though I don't have an actual PS2 hardware. I played it using my cousin's PS2 and I do consider buying me a PS2 just because of Crash Twinsanity

To this day I call some friends to play Crash Bash using the multitap. Unfortunately, Crash Team Racing doesn't allow actual racing in the 4 players mode

Are you sure? Pretty sure we played 4 players racing on CTR. Or are you talking about 4 players in the same race as computer controlled characters?
