I hope so. But all I hear is people saying things with no evidence.

In fact it’s not even a new game on PSN. It’s the same edition that’s just getting an update via a patch. That means they’d need to actually remove the performance mode with the patch.

I'm not sure what's the situation on PS5, but you can access different versions of Witcher 3 on Steam and GOG once it's in your library. As far as I know, if you own PS4 version of Witcher 3, you can do the same on PS5 (though it seems that cross-save between versions is done by linking console to GOG).

Hopefully this will be PS5 too. 

I'm fine with the next Gen patch at 60fps. Game still looks great and I've watched some comparison side by sides, it's not really an impactful remaster visually. I'm hesitantly awaiting it but I'll know in a weeks time I suppose. If the combat is improved I might install it and if people praise the new skill trees but it'll take a lot of community support to make me keep my PS5 connected to the Internet after release day and even then, even if it's 60fps I am still feeling mixed.

And it starts. Already seeing people on Twitter complaining. I smell a big misfire, maybe bigger than Warcraft 3.

30 fps is fine. Title had me worried for a second.

The one on the right is vastly superior. Better particle effects, better lighting, better foliage and more dense, better water effects and reflections. The visual clarity also seems to be better in general.

Left is superior simply cause of reflections.
