It really depends on what you've played before it - while OoT was great experience, as someone older that you by descent amount, I've already had that wow experience in quite a few games before OoT, so it didn't resonated with me as much on that front.

On topic:

What I've been waiting for decades is full fledged TTRPGs converted to video game, something that many VG RPGs tried, and none ever succeeded. This means game world with full systemic simulations and AI GM that governs it.

Full systemic simulations have been around for quite a while, only things that's missing is GM, and that is something that will most likely happen in next few years due to rapid advancements in ML. Not sure who will get to this goalpost first, my money is on something like future iteration of Dwarf Fortress or some other indie attempt, though, AAA industry might really surprise here.

Final fantasy 7 remake was my GTA 6 since i waited for it since the ps2 era and every gen hope was incrising till it was announced, still waiting less than a year to finish that dream come true

I’m still scarred by Duke Nuk’em Forever and thus keep my expectations and hopes in check.

But I still hope for a Morrowind sequel. To bad the Elder Scrolls series only got 3 games. I also hope for a follow up to Fallout 2 more in the atmosphere of the first game, to bad that series also only got 2 games.

After E-Day it will be Gundam Oribital. Stylish action mecha game! FUCK YES!

Mario, Zelda, anything by Naughty Dog, and if we ever get that Chrono Trigger remake is significantly more exciting to me than GTA.

Wizardry 9. Considering the rights owners are only interested in the Lylgamyn saga (Wizardry I-V) and it's spinoffs, this is absolutely a pipe dream. Even worse a Wizardry 9 that would accept the final saves from Wizardry 8 and let you continue the story that started in Wizardry VI 35 years ago...
