Um...first of all, I believe Rockstar had a contract with Sony that GTA could not be released on another platform before PS3. Secondly, the 50 million was only for as-yet-unannounced DLC.

Neither of these circumstances should lead to thanking Microsoft for Rockstar's great game...

Actually if you look at this thread

You will see that only the Xbox360 version didn't get perfect tens while the PS3 versions got perfect tens all around.
Don't know if it's just a coincidence that the Xbox360 magazines are harsher compared to the PS3 magazines but it is something to think about.

Well you think lazy IGN would bother making a separate review with lower score for 360...don't think so. And hey look at you're favorite xbox magazine, they did the job for IGN. lol

Yes, because it would be so difficult to simply have two different scores at the end of the review, or two different reviews like they have with countless other games including Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

And of course, the Xbox Magazine review would have been done by exactly the same person at IGN who thought the 360 and PS3 versions were so indiscernable they got the same score.

Now you said something about ownage?

starcraft has a wierd interpretation of pwnage. he thinks that if he disproves other peoples ideas with his on "logic" that that is pwnage. hmm.. the only actual quotes you have posted do not state any kind of confirmation on anything DLC related or the complete expiernce bull shit. they are quotes that only you have interpreted as facts.

PS3 version looks and loads and runs better, even though there are enough good things about the game to warrant a score of 10 on 360.

I LOVE this.  Rockstar has said it hasn't even mastered PS3 yet.  This is so great.  :)  The PS3 and its 8-10 year life cycle is worth so much more than it costs...this is incredible.

WOO HOO. i think IGN did that to avoid a huge shit storm. either way they both play the same but if you want to compare the two FULL games, ps3 wins. every GTA IV review confirms this.
