I agree, this IS really annoying. It tracks the exact time anyway, why does it not just show it?

Xbox Series: only updating recently played games instead of all installed.
Annoys the crap out of me if I turn the console on every few months and having to constantly install updates instead of playing.
Kudos to ps5 for never really seeing updates being installed
| curl-6 said: Don't know if it's supposed to do this, but if I leave my PS4 in rest mode for too long it shuts itself down, then next time I turn it on it tells me off for not shutting it down properly, and it's like, hey you're the one who turned yourself off you stupid fucken thing. |
You sure you don't get a brown out (power dip) now and then. I usually have an old clock flashing when my PS5 does this. The rest of the house 'reboots' fine, the old digital clock give sit away lol. (And the PS5)

That is if rest mode doesn't get interrupted. It's annoying when I want to play VR, put on the headset, then it first gets mad that it wasn't shut down properly (brown out), then after rebooting it wants to do a system update before I can play. By the time that's all done I'm doing something else. Guess I need a UPS in between. (Or just turn the PS5 back on when the yellow light is off)
Still liked gaming more before updates and log ins! Power on and go.
Original Xbox HDD being locked to the specific motherboard. So officially there was no way of replacing the HDD if it broke or you wanted more space.
Just finished flashing my OG Xbox bios so this isn't an issue anymore and with an adapter I'm using an SD card in it instead of a HDD.

What bugs me the most is how your playtime hours reset whenever purchasing a nee system unless you do a full system transfer upon initial boot. Luckily the Switch App preserves your data, but I would like to not have my BotW playtime forever stuck at 245hr.

Just experienced this recently. I wanted to bring my legacy island over to Switch 2 due to the new features, and I did. Now, it's frozen at 590 hours or more which there's almost no chance I will ever hit again for it to start counting more.
