665p equivalent at 30fps

So we have yet another non-HD game this gen. I'd call this another piece of proof that "true HD" is just marketing bullshit, and that making a good looking game this gen requires some sacrifices. But of course some people will make excuses, even though resolution doesn't make that much of a difference.

Dont understabnd this. My tv is 1080p. Watchin dvds 1920x1080 /50hz. Watching Blu ray and 1080p games it says 1920x1080 /60hz. MGO is in 60hz not upscaled. Unless my tv is lying

if that is the case, what is 480P then? Sub-SD?

And well, MGO is not the major Metal Gear showing this year. I expect MGS4 to be real-HD.

668p is way better then 480p... I'd say its in the lower levels of HD pus its in beta so full textures are probably not even installed.

 I have a 2560x1600 Dell monitor on my PC. I can full screen a youtube video, but it does not make that Video 2560x1600.

Kind of the same thing here :)

The game looks damn good for whatever resolution it is. And honestly thats all I really care about. :)
