I actually look at it a bit differently. I think the main issue with Prime 4 isn't necessarily the game itself, but the fact that it's called Prime at all.
The Prime series is so beloved that putting that '4' on the box created massive, almost impossible standards. If Nintendo had just launched this under a brand-new sub-series title, it would’ve been received a lot better. A new title would give it room to breathe and its focus on cutscenes or an open-world direction could actually be fleshed out as its own thing. That way, if people didn't vibe with the open-world mechanics, they could just say, 'Eh, not for me, but it's just a spin-off,' rather than feeling like the Prime series lost its identity.
I just started it. Can't be worse the Metroid dread.

Fair enough. If we move beyond my grammar/syntax comments, but to actual writing: "There is no detail, and no justification for the take-home message". FYI English is not my first language either.

for real haha. Dread was badass.
The only legit complain I could see about Dread is maybe it wasn't a fantastic metroidvania-type metroid game, but it was incredible if you just look at it from a general action game perspective. And quite frankly I don't expect Metroid games to live up to the best of the vast category of metroidvania games since there are so many indies that have tried to push the metroidvania formula in different ways, I just want Metroid games to be good Metroid games, and Dread is a great game, one of my favorite games on Switch.

My bad, it was good. I preferred metroid prime remastered. It was my first metroid game Prior. Its great as a portable game on the go. I just got tired half way through or maybe longer, i was doing alot of back tracking and didn't know where to go next. Maybe one day ill finish. Thats the great thing about physical media lol, i can continue later without worry. Wish sony would understand.
