There are some people that still don't trust online transactions, some people that don't put their console online, some people that don't even have HDDs and some people (more in this cat than others) who like to own actual discs that they can stick on the shelf so they can show them off. 

 I seriously doubt T2 is going to miss out on a bunch of sales by not putting it to disc.

LOL. Bungie denied Halo3 was even being developed and it turned out they had started 5 months earlier. R* wont say a word yet. Especially on a PS3 fans viewed section. What did you expect them to say. " Yes we are making it and it's all this extra stuff that the PS3 isnt getting, sorry." Oh shit we shouldnt have said that, there goes our PS3 sales of the game. No like many companies before them, for a big announcement it's done in a dramatic way. It will be done when MS are ready to. 50 mill got them it, and it's theirs till R* pay them back with the sales of it. Like I said, you really think they wuld mention it a few days before release on a PS3 section of a massive games website. I think not. Take what he said with a pinch of salt. Because if he is to be believed. Then it wont appear till Dec/Jan.

selnor it is not the ps3 section. the interview was done, put on both sections and i just happened to click the link for the ps3 page. they dont have a MULTICONSOLE page! houser did not just say that to not piss off sony or not spill the beans for microsoft. its a fact. your done.
