I have played Ball X Pit

Yes 6 54.55%

No 5 45.45%

No but I intend to 0 0%

Total:11

Only modern one I've played is HoloCure.

I guess Angry Birds counts? Until you've played all main levels and you're actually trying to get three stars at everything and it becomes real gaming.
And physics puzzles in general, like The Incredible Machine games.

Does Hades qualify? Game is hard, but short quick runs and loads of fun.

It would if it wasn't so RNG. Got sick of the RNG being so random. However yes, asides from that issue it would qualify and it's a great game only to be marred by RNG where the stuff you want just won't show up, it's far, far to random.

I'll check it out when it comes to console. Waiting on Megabonk too. Thank you and I never did try angry birds or that garden zombie game. These might be in the same vane. You also reminded me of a mobile game where you use a jet pack to in a sidescoller, I think I bought it for PS5 too. Cheers 🍻

I don't think I have played any games that you are looking for, so sorry I don't have anything to recommend.

But for me World of Warcraft fills that dopamine itch. Just turn your brain off, kill monsters, gain xp, level up.

Darn! I have a few hours to kill on a flight and Balatro was a game I forgot to redownload… and Mario Run only offers like nine levels before requiring a purchase (which I cannot do on airplane WiFi). Maybe on my flight from Washington to Houston I’ll sink some time into Balatro, going in with a mentality as you have suggested Legit.

Video games are a lot more fun when you’re confined to like two options and stuck on a plane lol. Super Mario Run went from very boring to genuinely very fun and challenging.

Okay, Ball X Pit takes it waaaaay to far, not only do they have a character that can play the gamefor you but you get an end game upgrade that allows you to send out character to missions while you are not playing. It's my only real flaw with the game but I'm sure this is somehow a reason for this. Maybe to be able to beat the game with a weird character like the one that makes the game turn based.

I found a few, mainly Nordic Ashes which looks like a hidden gem but too expensive to gameble at 20 euro. I seem to have played all the great ones in the genre that made it to console but qpart from PoE2 1.0 and someones recommendation of rythym games, I sussed another genre, arcade racing games and rally games. I have one of each installed. Also, maybe some of the easier 2d sides scrollers would git the bill, Art of Shinobi being one I have installed, I wanna play Nine Sols but I know that'll need intense focus.
