Galaxy 2. One of the few games I view as literally perfection, as in I would change nothing. The game is absolutely mind blowing.

I like Ocarina but find it to be the most overrated Zelda to date. The game is good, a solid 8/10, but I never (even back in the day) understood the love affair. I honestly think LttP, Twilight and Skyward are all better.

Its either OoT or BOTW. Either one is fine.

For me it was between RDR2 and Galaxy (I still haven't played galaxy 2 yet)

RDR2 is a masterpiece though, voted for that. I don't believe there's any other world with as much attention to detail. It's not my favourite game of all time, but I would say it's probably what I consider the greatest game of all time.

Ocarina is an incredibly well crafted game but I didn't play it properly until the 3DS version. The games 18fps on N64 (PAL) is insane lol. The game never really clicked with me on N64 and now I'm no longer a child and know what framerate is I'm almost certain that's why. But it is a masterclass in game design.

Those are my thoughts exactly but for Super Mario Odyssey (and, in recent times, Super Mario 64). Such incredible games!

BotW is my favorite but if the premises is that only one can remain I'm okay with just keeping TotK and choosing Super Mario Galaxy instead.

None really. I prefer others rated in the 90s

BOTW is great though

Same. But I would rather choose Mario Galaxy or Galaxy 2. I loved BotW, but sadly it's not a game I can go back and enjoy a second time.

I would go with Galaxy. I could always play Tears Of The Kingdom to get my Zelda fix.

Red Dead Redemption II.
I mean, GoW (2018) is the goty winner and better game, but Red Dead Redemption II still the best in the list.

if we don't consider "temporal context and importance", Red Dead Redemption II for sure.

If we consider "temporal context and importance" > The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It aged like Milk, but was the last truly revolutionary Zelda.

I can only choose one for what? If the idea is that I can only play that game, and that all by myself (no multiplayer), from the list given and moving forward, the pick would be very easy - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, as I could keep playing and exploring that world almost ad infinitum. Not my favorite in that list (either Galaxy or Ocarina I might like better), but BotW is a game I could pick and keep playing for pretty much ever. TotK maybe even more so, but not on the list.

Just imagine a fighting game or a skating game get a 97-98 score these days.
