Ah so it seems you guys are approaching the end. Assuming I get through my morning studies quick enough, I believe I should have time to wrap things up. I’m pretty close to the center… unless there’s some surprise extra content I don’t know about.

DF finally took a look at it; while the game is not exactly a graphical showpiece, they do note some improvements over Splatoon 3 such as improved ink physics and enemy models.

Runs at 1440p with SMAA in docked mode with drops to around 1260p in the most intense moments, and a fixed 1080p without AA in portable mode. Framerate during actual gameplay is locked at 60fps even in the heaviest scenes, though cutscenes can be lower such as 30fps for key story scenes.

Gahh!

The Arcade games are killing me >_>

I reached the end game and

Spoiler!
I can see myself spending a lot of hours grinding for 5* weapons and 5* gadget parts then upgrading them for maximum chaos

.

Signature goes here!

Taken a bit of a break from this one, not cos I wasn't enjoying it, I very much was, but in true ADHD fashion another game grabbed my attention as I picked up Shadow Warrior on PS4 for super cheap and so dived into that. Will return to Raiders once I'm done with that.

Apparently word of mouth seems quite good for Raiders, both the user scores and general online sentiment suggests its blend of chaotic action, challenging but flexible difficulty and loot-based progression has gone over very well the community.

I took the Virtual card back from my wife since she hadn't played much yet and spent an hour or so on the game. I'm enjoying it.

Is it just I who suck or did the difficulty take a sharp upward turn once you reach the end game? :P

It's not just you, the game is inherently highly challenging; there's no shame in turning things down if you feel overwhelmed.

Gonna be honest… the game is starting to overstay its welcome a bit for me. Three weeks and still not done. Granted, I’ve only had 6-7hr of gaming per week (time has been scant, I’m currently prepping for a big exam), but I’ll be entering week four with this game still unfinished. Hm. I’m enjoying it, but I would like to be done soon, y’know?

Yeah the game is a lot longer than I expected going in; I'm not complaining as I am enjoying my time with it, but I assumed I was nearing the end at what turned out to be only around 60% of the way through.
