Forums - Sales - Famitsu Sales: Week 13, 2026 (Ma 23- Mar 29)

And how many of THOSE units do they ship weekly?

5k? 7.5k? 10k?

It can’t be that high because they’d be taking huge losses the more they ship.

Switch is the same and the Switch 2 returns to normal after the significant Pokopia boost. March was a really great month for it and the PS5 goes up some due to the upcoming price hike so next week should be elevated somewhat too but then sales after will be worse than before. It won't tank as hard as it will elsewhere due to the exclusive digital model that's staying the same price though.

The PS5 digital total was 8600 last week compared to 2100 last year that same week so about the middle option considering sales of the regular digital model will have largely transferred to the cheaper one. Its existence is mainly to keep Playstation sales from completely dying in Japan which would've for sure happened after this price increase without it.

A download card for a 20-year-old Pokemon game hanging in the top 10 is kinda hilarious, really speaks to the IP's power in Japan.

@CourageTCD Promise made, promise kept. Even managed to get the exact same formatting as @ShadowLink93! (btw Is it okay that I've just straight up copy-and-pasted your NS1+NS2 lists? If not, I can edit the presentation to be a bit more original. I just love how you have it setup.)

Also, hopefully next week the photos won't look as bluury. VGChartz has a 500K limit on photos, so this is the best I could get.

Another close to 19k week for NS1! Is that eventually is weekly sales baseline? If so, that's outstanding...
Ah, Mario bros wonder...
Should have been kept for Nintendo switch 2 as system seller.
1 had already the amusing Wii u port, wonder came and cut its legs and in on its own part being late to the party didn't sell to the full potential of 2d Mario title ...

Would have made for a great launch title
