Astral Chain. It's my my 3rd fave Nintendo IP behind Xenoblade & Sin N Punishment. It was a nice celebration of PG past games and created something new and interest that also felt like a celebation of 80s and 90s anime. A Bubblegum Crisis and Eva (even tho I dislike Eva) but stuff from that era. Yes AC counts as it is a Nintendo owned IP like Sin N Punishment. Second to that I am saying Xenoblade 2 or 3. Probably 3. 3 is as close to Xenogears in tone that the series has gotten.

Once years of DLC is factored in IMO it will become Mario Kart World.

Nope, BOTW and the Switch 1 absolutely did not come almost a decade ago. Both are just a few years old and I'm not getting close to my 30's.

Tears of the Kingdom it has far more depth and expressive freedom than BOTW and is objectively better when you compare each aspect of both games plus fusion is  the greatest Zelda mechanic of all time, after it's SMO best 3D sandbox platformer then DKB which is a very expressive 3D platformer to the point it becomes therapeutic on top of being an alternative option to SMO.

It's either Odyssey or Smash Ultimate for me. And I voted Odyssey.

Though I haven't played TotK yet and it's certainly possible once I play it it would be in the conversation, but the fact that it was basically an expanded rehashing of BotW I think it likely would not be different enough from BotW to take 'best game since BotW' for me over Odyssey or Smash Ultimate.

For me 3D Zelda, 3D Mario, and Smash Ultimate were by far the best things to come from Nintendo on the Switch.
