VG disappoints.

The answer is Luigi's Mansion. Fantastic series that does not get enough love.

Mother Trilogy: 2 and 3 are two of the best games of all-time. The first one is enjoyable but quite dated.
Paper Mario: TTYD is a masterpiece and the first game and Super Paper Mario are great.
Non-trilogies (back to back)
Persona 3-5: Goated
Marvel's Spider-Man: Because Miles isn't numbered but is the second of these games.

Well, good time to have a thread about it with the remake of the God of War trilogy, lol.

Very easily the best trilogy in gaming history IMO.

Uncharted 1, 2, 3. Might want to shift the trilogy one step to get rid of the first game and instead incorporate 4. But that seems like cheating.

Mario Party 1,2,3 on N64. Best in its genre at least.

Perhaps unpopular opinion... Street Fighter Alpha 1-3, best SF games in the series. Alpha is better than the main series.
