Imo, switch.
Series is almost dead, why buy it if you can go Playstation?

I don't think we will ever know for sure, to be honest.

But, as I think the Series will hardly sell 2M, the Switch 1 should win.

There is even talk from AMD about next-gen Xbox in 2027, so even if it was not already dead it could have a sales cliff when the successor is announced.

Series had a soft death in 2025, after struggling for a year or so before that. Switch is dying but should outsell Series. Xbox can manage maybe a million units globally this year and Switch will probably sell around 2 million units give or take. The US and North America as a whole are perhaps the only markets this year where Xbox will outsell Switch.

I think it is deceptively simple.  It seems like the Switch should win in because the Switch is doing like 2:1 v Xbox currently.  And there is no guarentee at all that Microsoft will even produce anymore stock.  The thing that gives me pause is that the slightest of bumps from GTA 6 could translate to a win for Xbox.  One thing we know for sure is that there are a greater number of Xbox One owners who never upgraded than there are potential Switch buyers.  But like I stated, if Microsoft is done with the Series then it might not matter.   And what about Nintendo.  What happens if they wake up one day and decide to cut the price of the Switch?  That could mitigate the whole thing. 

No, I'm gonna go with my gut... I'm gonna say the Xbox gets this.  I know its not a popular oponion, but when the dust falls, people are gonna want to play this game, and especially if the PS5 sales out, its not gonna stop this party.  People will do whatever they have to do to play it.  And I've been wrong before, so I could be wrong this time for sure.

I'm honestly not sure even GTA6 will do much to boost Xbox, simply cos you can only buy what's available, and Microsoft seems to be barely producing the thing any more.

Even those that wanted to play it on a Xbox, if they can't find a place where they can buy one, they will end up on a PlayStation instead.
In Europe even just finding a Series X is a issue, most places.

You basically don't have a choice, if you are a casual that wants to jump on the hype train for GTA.
I need to play it -> PS5 sale.

Also insane to think PS5 might do like 16m this year, and we are actually doing a pole of like "will xbox sell more than switch1 this year" (~2m range).
And people are voting switch1.  A 8 to 1 ratio of console sales worldwide, is pretty nuts.

Yeah its known what the PS5 will do, no need for speculation on competition because there is none.  PC is in a bad situation and no one cares about Xbox.
