Hard to say, given we dont know exactly what first party games are coming. Third party does nothing for me. Dont see the point playing third party on basically a 2050 when I got a 4090.
Right FE is the only S2 game on my list.

With so many rumours and announcements from 3rd parties, it wouldnt hurt to make a direct partner showcase for this month.
I bet that a general direct would be only after the Mario tennis release

I think we will get 3D Mario and some kind of Zelda remake (hopefully Ocarina), so that alone would make it better for me. Plus if gen x pokemon actually delivered, but definitely wont hold my breath on that one
10th gen Pokemon
A new 3D Mario or a 2D mario
Zelda remaster (either WW/TP)
Zelda remakes (Oracle of Ages/Seasons)
WiiU port (Mario Color Splash or Star Fox Zero)
Mario Kart World DLC
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Switch 2 edition
^ Any of these is what I hope/expect.

Partner Showcase (Check)
Pokemon Presents (On the way)
Nintendo Direct (Not confirmed, but pretty imminent at this point)
But some people are conviced that Nintendo wont have anything big for this year

I think Gen Ten Pokémon will impress… though that won’t stop the internet from trashing it. Looks like everything before May has been revealed/planned (excluding Yoshi, and I expect FE & Splatoon Raiders to release soon as well)— at this point, the question boils down to what are Nintendo’s plans for the latter half of this year?
If there’s no Direct announced tomorrow (which I do not expect there to be), then it’ll be sometime in March/early-April. Could be that last year’s scheduling of Directs was our first glimpse at the future.
Is 3D Mario quite probable now? Pokemon Winds and Waves is a 2027 release. Nintendo needs something for Holiday 2026. Smash seems off the table still unless Sakurai took a backseat to it and advised rather than directed. Could Nintendo pick a more casual holiday title like Switch Sports, Ring Fit Adventure, or even the return of Nintendogs?
Lifetime Sales Predictions
Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)
PS5: 122 million (was 105 million, then 115 million) Xbox Series X/S: 38 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million. then 48 million. then 40 million)
Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)
PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)
3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Nintendo can be very unpredictable… you never know what they’re thinking. Just look at 2020 and 2021– I’m not sure there was a single general direct in the former, and the latter featured a 2D Metroid as the big system seller.
Now, seeing as mainline Mario has always dropped either during the first or second holiday (or sometime in between) of any given Nintendo system, it seems like an obvious bet that we’ll be getting 3D Mario ESPECIALLY with the Mario movie dropping this year. However, I’d remain a bit wary until the game is actually revealed.

I think 3D Mario from Odyssey team is not happening because its team has been developing DK Bananza
If I have to bet, a sucessor to Mario 3D World or Mario Maker 3 are much more likely
Luigi Mansion is approaching 15 million units, so it could also be a bet
Animal Crossing doesn't look much like either, 3.0 was the update intended to give the fanbase something to play while we wait
3D Zelda is obviously not happening either
Ring Fit Adventure is a good bet

Darn, how did I forget Luigi's Mansion 4? I want it so bad and the timing would add up. Next Level Games has had enough time to make it I think.
