Oh wow. I’m in love with the animation and production design. And the asymmetrical co-op looks intriguing.
Finally a game that might make me pick up a Switch 2. Loving the art style, and couch coop...yes please!
Not an Anime fan at all but that art style ... damn! ... it looks fantastic. It puts me in mind of what Dragons Lair was trying to do 42 years ago. For those not familiar: Limited by the tech at the time the game was nothing but quick time events, but I have to imagine this is the level of game play / animation they imagined way back when. A mere 4 decades later and this seems to be on par with a vision like that. Bravo.
I wonder if this will later jump to Multi-Plat .... being exclusive seems odd unless they got money hatted ...

That's what I'm wondering. I have no one that lives with me right now to play it and only have one person right now who has a Switch 2.

Well I prefer playing alone and would rather have a AI companion controlling the second character lol

They are apparently a very small studio, it could be that they don't currently have the bandwidth to release across all platforms at once, and so are focusing on the hot new console on the block where their game may get more attention.
Could also be that Nintendo had a hand in funding it.

I won't go into detail because I have only discussed with with my game dev friends (no he is not making it or anyone else) about a anime mech game that looks indistinguishable from 1980s anime during gameplay. A lot more to it but stopping there. This game looks as close to my dream as possible. I hope they offer single player option.

Hopefully a single player option is available or maybe at least the possibility of playing online so we can set something here together haha
But it's extremely eerie and exciting to see the 80's/90's anime cell artstyle backed in the game so masterfully.
Though it's moreso a surprise of seeing the game game being a Switch 2 exclusive !
Who knows, maybe Nintendo could be it's worldwide publisher if there's also a physical release ?
