I'm surprised Final Fantasy Tactics didn't chart for PS4.

Yotei seems to be Sony's biggest PS5 hit yet in Japan, but still short of Tsushima and the biggest PS5 games.

If you add up NS1 + NS2 + PS5 FFT retail sales you get 77,834 which would put it in the #2 slot.

Switch is already hearing Switch 2 Boss Music and runs like hell while it still can

I find it quite interesting that Ghost of Yotei outsold Mario by 3 to 1... the very same ratio as in UK's retail sales charts. I wonder what the ratio of PS5 to Switch 2 is the same in Europe and Japan?

Not as big as Tsushima but that's easily explained by a bigger digital ratio this time and the PS4 being over 6.5 years old at the time instead of a bit under 5 for the PS5. All in all this is a nice start to the last stretch of the year.

While it makes sense in terms of install base size, seeing a Final Fantasy game perform better on Nintendo than Playstation is still a strange thing to see.

Switch 1 also holding remarkably well considering it's been replaced.

Well now we can see it at 11.  It got about 1/6th of the PS5 version.  It looks like the PS4 isn't really a relevant platform for players in Japan anymore.
