The Legend of Dragoon, the thread.

Came to say this. I'm playing it these days, I'm 11 hours in so far. They cooked.

Is it your first time playing it?

Yes. I am going to visit Hellena Prison for the second time. How far am I? :D

I like it, but I would enjoy it even more if my characters would level up a bit faster.

You are somewhat close to finishing disc 1. I absolutely love the final parts of disc 1, so enjoy!

Almost all level ups you'll have will be in boss fights, they give loads of exp, so only farm exp if you are really close to a level up, if not just keep going, the game is not hard so don't worry.

What you should do, is try getting as many additions right as you can, not because of the obvious reason the full attack combo does more damage, but because every 20 times you complete an addition the addition will level up itself, become stronger or giving more SP for you dragoon transformation... that will also level up based on how much SP you get (it's a hidden value so unless you keep track yourself you'll get it eventually).

Also, if you level up every addition a character have to addition level 5 (by completing 80 combos with each addition) there is a great surprise =D

Every character has a different number of additions, you can check on their addition page to see how far the list goes because the number counting them, on the left, stops counting in the last addition slot, even if the addition itself has not been learned yet.

yeah this is the exact thread I’ve been looking for. Seeing so many suggesting Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Pico, Sly Cooper… I hope to give those games the time of day someday. As for me? As much as I love TLoU:Pt1…it’s way too violent. That said, I’m going with Crash N’Sane Trilogy. (Though if Crash isn’t first-party, then…I guess that leaves Astro Bot as the only option lol. I haven’t played any other PS first-party games.)

If you think TLoU is way too violent you will have a hard time with Part 2.

i did lol. It came to a point where I had to quit midway through. I just couldn’t enjoy the game.

Well, I won't pick one particular game, but my favorite First Party from Sony is Ratchet & Clank, since Going Commando on PS2, my first contact with the series.

I played Rift Apart some time ago, and geez, that game is stunning!

Sad to know you couldn't enjoy it, it's one of the most impressive, best crafted and competent games ever, maybe THE most, to be honest.

I know it's not everyone's that enjoy games that go that dark, but this one is really a gem, so powerful at messing with the player's emotion exactly how it wants to.

Hopefully if you ever feel like you are developing a taste for it you can give it another try, but no pressure.

Now that is really useful, thanks a lot!

Probably Bloodborne

Probably crash Bandicoot. It was a stand out 3d game that changed everything
