Not much to highlight. My daughter liked seeing more Tomodachi footage and the Danganronpa remake. There was nothing for me personally. I would put DQ 1&2 in the maybe column, and Hades II looks cool, but I haven't played the first one yet. Absolutely nothing looked like a "must play" game.
curl-6 bet me that PS5 + X|S sales would reach 56m before year end 2023 and he was right.
My Bet With curl-6

That's certainly a possibility. The steady sales pace of Switch 1 has allowed Nintendo to sit on already finished games for a while and determine their release dates as they see fit. We've seen this in 2022 when Splatoon 3 needed a bit more time and got its release month swapped with Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.
Fire Emblem. I did not like Engage. I usually finish Fire Emblem games repeatedly. Engage is proof that sometimes gameplay isn't enough. That game failed at every aspect except the gameplay. Story, characters, character design, and the overall world was just plain bad. I'm looking forward to a good Fire Emblem experience.
Side note: polygonal fruit! finally!

I voted RE because it's been so long since Ninty owners got some genuine RE love. That said, a new Metroid Prime game is huge...but it had been announced so long ago that after all this waiting it wasn't really such a big deal in the direct itself, imo.
The only other game that, to me, is super exciting is Hades 2. I'm currently playing it and I've enjoyed it far more than I ever expected to and I am very much looking forward to another. I honestly believe that it is a game no-one should miss out on. It's just that good.
Surprised to see that Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined has so many votes, the third most behind only Fire Emblem and Prime 4, even above the likes of Resident Evil or Yoshi.
Guess I didn't realize how popular a game it is.
Virtual Boy announcement. Completely serious. Unironically.

I'll go with the boring vote of the Galaxy remasters, but I'm genuinely excited to play Galaxy 2 in HD.
