Motorcycle in Prime 4 is completely meh for me. I don't need yet another "open world" game filled with nothing. Read: Mario Kart World, Zelda BOTW TOTK. I'll still buy it, maybe, but my most hyped game this season is still Kirby Air Riders.

RE7, 8, 9 was a very nice surprise. I'm looking forward to that.

The only system seller on there was Fire Emblem. Everything else was ports of things I already own. Switch 2 continues to have nothing interesting to entice me to buy it. When Switch 1 came out, I got it day one. Zelda BOTW was not worth missing. Puyo Puyo Tetris and Bomberman gave me so many good parties. Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 were coming.

It feels like Nintendo released Switch 2 way too early. That, or they mistimed all their software. We SHOULD have at least one more big hitter from their main franchises. But all we have is Donkey Kong. Which, while nice, isn't exactly the 20+ Million seller they need. However, they do have Mario Kart. Then again, the Switch did to, even it was just a port.

The funny thing about these ports is that when I tell younger people about owning the originals, they act amazed. "You own the originals? How is that possible?"
Then I answer them. "Oh, because you are old. Makes sense."
I respond, "It wasn't that long ago. Wait. Wii was released twenty years ago? Oh boy."

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

I live by the kind of vibes games like Kirby and Yoshi give me.
The moment I saw the artstyle of the new Yoshi game,it basically sold me. Good Feel using some kind of hybrid stop motion with hand drawn touch makes my heart artistically flutters !

But the title of the game of the show to me is obviously Mario Tennis Fever. Aces was a banger gameplay wise that suffered from the absence of content.
Fever looks to rectify that so far from the first look. It's likely to be a banger as well.

Shoutout to the Dragon Quest VII remake too. I wanted to play it on 3DS for a while but I never managed to get a copy of it at a decent price so that's just dandy now

Mario Tennis looks like it’ll be a lot of fun! Also, I cannot wait to give that VB Wario games some time and energy!!

Yes, that Yoshi trailer was amazing.

Excited for Tennis Fever as well.

DQ7 looks great as well, glad there's a remake because I too didnt get the chance to play it on 3DS (or PS1) - now I hope this leads to them making Dragon Quest VIII Reimagine - I really loved DQ8 on 3DS but it needs to not be stuck on 3DS lol.

I've toyed with the idea of buying a Virtual boy since mine broke long ago (I got it for like 50 bucks after it flopped), so I'm hyped for that. Does this mean more vr stuff is on the way? The Switch 2 seems to be capable of it so long as there's a mount/headset.

I'll definitely get the Virtual Boy accessory for Switch to feed my curiosity.

I often though about buying a Virtual Boy in the last years, but the original hardware costs at least 300 - 400 € in Germany, plus the games which aren't cheap either. With no official release in Europe, there weren't any deals of garage sales.

In comparison, 80 € (shipping + taxes included) for the Switch accessory (or 20 € for the cardbox version) + NSO Expansion is a steal and probably delivers much better image quality. Perhaps the emulation even offers other color modes, f.e. a grey, green, amber or blue palette.

Haven't decided yet, which model I get. How can the cardboard model be used without a stand or strap?

Apparently you hold it by the joycon up to your face. Does not seem comfortable.

But it looked like you could wear it on your head. :(
