he isnt to blame for his death in any way. are you really going to sit here and tell me and everybody else that anybody who defends the second amendment is to blame for their own death? this is an asinine position. gun control laws are not going to prevent straight up assassinations like this. the reason this occurred is because there was somebody out there who didnt like what he was saying, so he or somebody else decided that they wanted him dead. its as simple as that. this is a problem of how radicalized people are when it comes to the way they react to opposing worldviews. thats what this is 100% about.

i agree with your point on the left vs right toxicity in our country and how extreme people have become. also keeping the incident in charlotte north carolina in mind, we need the second amendment now more than ever. its becoming increasingly clear that you are safest, especially in urban areas, when you are strapped. everybody should be trained on how to use a firearm. im not a gun guy myself, but with the way the world is, there is no doubt that i will be in the near future learning how to shoot and purchasing one. especially because i have a family. ill be damned if someone wants to break into my house and victimize me and my family. its not happening on my watch. too much evil out there to be left unprotected.

Do you realize that even if he had 10 guns or more with him, he would still be dead by now? He believed guns save people but no amount of guns he had would protect him from what happened today

i didnt say if he had a gun he would be alive

I wonder what Parker and Stone are thinking? I wonder who future episodes will target?

I intensely disliked him. He wasn't terrible enough to deserve dying so young...hundreds of millions of people are equally evil/brainwashed and I don't wish them death.

I feel sorry for the children he left behind, and mourn the fact that lunatic conservatives and right wingers will label him a courageous martyr of sorts. I pray that his murder won't lead more division, hatred, and deaths... but who am I kidding? This world is going straight to hell.

Some notable game devs chime in, including from Ghost of Yotei, Bungie, and The Coalition

He was a Godily man, who was assassinated because of radical left indoctrination.

Oh, do we know who did it and their motives already?

They should have conceal carried so that the gunman could be taken care of quickly. If people knew that others carried and would defend each other then this kind of violence would stop happening.

Too soon to say, his killer has yet to be identified, much less their motive.

When one uses an absolute as an argument, such as "you should never celebrate another person's death", it is useful to take it to the extreme and see if it still holds up. Think of the worst person you can, the most evil human being in history. That might be a different person depending on your views. Would it be wrong to celebrate their death? I don't think so, and you most likely don't think so either. In that case, the absolute is false, and there is a line one can cross that would make their death celebratable. You can argue where that line is, whether or not Charlie Kirk's death is celebratable, but you can't use "you shouldn't celebrate another person's death" as a reply to someone doing so.

I can at least confidently say that there is not a single person in american politics (my home country) where I would celebrate this, say this is deserved, or not feel any sort of sympathy/empathy for them or their family. not one. and thats an easy call to make.
