sierra games....i miss the point and click genre and i realize that they still exist, however Sierra was the master at this. Leisure Suit Larry, Spacecraft, kings quest, Quest for glory, etc etc etc

Ken and Roberta Williams recently released a an adventure game called Colossal Cave.

Didn't know about that, added to my wishlist.

Still have that "With what? Your bare hands?" in my head when playing the original when I was younger...

Actually this is a remake, a remake of one of the oldest games, called Collossal Cave Adventure, Advent350 (because you could gain 350 points), or simply Adventure (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colossal_Cave_Adventure ). That is the game that defined the adventure genre. The Zork-games came after and there strongly inspired by this. It was a pure text-based game, because most computers didn't do graphics (it was made for a PDP-10). Ken and Roberta's remake do it in 3D-graphics, but originally it looked like this:

Ah, the one that started it all - my first adventure was Hobbit in '82, and I ran into Colossal Cave for the first time only by watching War Games in '83 - it seemed interesting, but to a fairly young lad I was at the time, it looked somewhat outdated, since graphic adventure games already took over, so (shame on me) I've only briefly played it.

I know fully well it's a remake. Like I hinted at with my last sentence, I have played the original (well, the DOS version) over 30 years ago.

I know I'm not playing this game properly, but I'd love to go back and save Naughty Dog from moving into a more realistic graphics approach. I loved the work they were doing on the PS1 and PS2 but once they made the first Uncharted that company was gone forever.

At this moment, just getting anything from them would be nice.

Yeah, I should not answer before the first coffee. You wrote that you played the original, I read over that. Sorry.

I think it's strange to pick studios like psygnosis, bizarre creations and westwood that basically still exist in spirit but under a different name. The key figures are all still together working on the games they want to make. It's like missing Amusement Vision even though they never really went away, we just knew the key figures as ryu ga gotoku studio instead now. And make no mistake RGG studio themselves do consider themselves one and the same with Amusement Vision.

My priority would be a place like Free Radical which very much does not still exist in spirit for now.

Not sure if it counts but the Ico, Last Guardian and SotC team. Loved their games. Shame they seem long gone.

i7-13700k

Vengeance 32 gb

RTX 4090 Ventus 3x E OC

Switch OLED

Of the ones listed in OP:
Bullfrog - I need some more Syndicate games!

Otherwise a studio not listed in OP:
Gremlin Graphics/Gremlin Interactive - Venus The Flytrap probably has the best intro song of any game ever made link to the intro song (sadly a really mediocre game though). Otherwise I need me some more of Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge/Lotus Turbo Challenge 2/Lotus III - The Ultimate Challenge.
