Well that was a weak Direct. The one thing I was looking forward to, Persona 3, is Switch 2 only. Meh.
It was a pretty meh Direct in comparison to the previous one and other Partner ones - aside from MHS3, Octopath 0 and Millenium tales
Anyways, some obvious ports but not as much new stuff I would have expected.
I want and hope Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition and Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition comes to Switch 2 eventually. DmC Devil May Cry....whether it comes out or not doesnt matter to me lol

The japanese Direct had a lot more (and left out most of the EA and Ubi stuff). Pritto Prisoner looks like a fun concept.
EDIT: Also a real nice looking farming game with... ghosts? Couldn't get the name as it was fully japanese, but it is from NIS. Also Momotaru Dentetsu 2.
Last edited by Mnementh - on 31 July 2025This was probably ok for normal Partner Showcase standards but man I was expecting more for the first Switch 2 one so that was pretty weak. PvZ: Replanted being real was nice to see though. Hopefully the general direct in the first half of September ends up being a lot better.
It was an okay Partner showcase. The main games that interest me are Pac-man, Katamari, Persona, and Dragon Ball.

Can't really understand this stance. This direct had two completely new HD2D games that are looking great, Final Fantasy Tactics and a new Monster Hunter Stories. This was pretty good in my books. Bogged down by EA and Ubisoft though, these were really yawn-inducing.
