Forums - Sales - Stellar Blade sales top 3 million, PC version sells a million in 3 days

Idk why talking about this game always has to devolve to this, Eves body is a novelty for like 5 minutes and then you play the game and you're spending 95% of the time looking at horrific monsters or focusing on terrain and jumping. 2 million people didn't buy this game because of the MC just the same as Bayonetta.

You can make super models in the Character creation of Baldurs Gate 3 without mods and you can strip your entire party naked, there are romances and explicit sexual scenes. Did the majority buy the game for that? No. Dragon Age has a community more focused on romance and that side of things, getting to bed an NPC and expressing sexuality which you can clearly see with the majority of the player base who stuck around for the last one, than Stellar Blade.

Nier Automata, a game with the most heart rending, emotional and existential crisis inducing story is a lesser game because 2Bs skirt can be blown off of her is a "gooner bait" game by these standards and if you're talking mods then Skyrim is the most goober game of all, a game where the mods are so unbelievably degenerate, where people not only double dipped but often triple dipped for console to PC to some iteration of VR.

Stellar Blade has style, substance and gameplay as the main core, unrealistically sexy woman on screen which is unthinkable for some (if so don't play it) it's all just window dressing and you can't fault mods when there is stuff out there like Skyrim or the many others. First thing people done with RE2 remake was strip Claire and leon of their clothing. It'll be the first thing they do to GTA6s two protagonists 2, that'll be one hell of a goober game.

Maybe for you, definitely not for the audience. Just went to Steam Page and out of the 10 review 9 and mentioning Eve's booty. Whatever the game has to offer as gameplay, it's clearly not why it's selling

BG3 most used mods are to improve UI and add a Lore Compendium. The first NSFW mod appear listed as the #16 most downloaded. Meanwhile on Stellar Blade it's the opposite, only one mod among the first 16 is about the gameplay, all others are about skins/costumes (12 of them being marked as adult content)

Anyone's can like the game regardless of couse. I like FE Fates even if the game is clearly a bait for fans of porn games

Glad to see this game selling well! Def one of the standouts this gen.

Does it matter. Does it matter than so many play Dragon Age games for romances? No. It does not.

Anyway people don't mod Skyrim and BG3 for NSFW mods through Nexus mods cause Nexus mods bans so much, they use that other site I can't remember the name of it and it is big and much bigger for Skyrim or BG3 than Stellar blade. Let people do what they want with their games or be interested in purchasing what they want, if they want sex and that's what sells leave them to it. Men play MMOs all the time and make their little barbie dolls and play dress up, leave them to it. Regardless, no body would be modding Stellar Blade if the game wasn't fantastic and highly rated as a great game asides from Eve, there are plenty of NSFW games with full nudity and they don't pull in these numbers, there is a whole section of steam for games people wanna jerk off or fiddle the bean to and it's woman also, not just men.

All people are horny, it's in our design to be attracted to sexy people. Let people have their fun and it doesn't effect the great game thst Stellar Blade is in anyway. Would you rather they made Eve ugly wearing a garbage bag like Concord characters and they sell nothing and Shift up goes bankrupt and people loose their jobs. It's so infuriating people think this way. Just like games designed to be difficult for a niche audience shouldn't matter to people who don't want to put in the time and effort to get skilled at the game. Leave others to their fun.

Oh, you finally played it. I told ya you would live it. Did you try for the platinum? It's so much fun.

Eh 2B is cosplayed a lot and people liked her booty. Still, the game is an ace game with top-class narrative in any game. SB doesn't have stop class story telling but it has excellent gameplay. If it all it was is just a butt. It would not sell as well or review as well as it does. Gal Gun. Onechanbara and others appeal to the honry demo and those games are generally not very good. Only sell to a small niche horny audience. If it was a bad game just out for horny it would be along those games in appeal and unknown/forgotten about to most. The game's entire appeal about boot is as true if I say God of War is only good for man nipples.

umm…im going off that one weekend of playing back in January lol. I really did enjoy the game, but have yet to return. It’s kinda in an Animal Well situation (loved Animal Well back in May (when it launched), but couldn’t play it fully through until December of that year. Ended up being among my top three favorite games of the year.)

Oh, high praise. I must check out Animal Well also, had it free for a time I think but never booted it. Is it worth the 20?

Anyway, Stellar Blade is great on normal difficulty but if you're going back in after only a few hours you should do it fresh cause the third boss, Gigas is essential to getting the hooks for the combat in. It's like a Genichiro moment.

The sexy MC is definitely a selling point, (and there's nothing wrong with that, it's normal, natural, and healthy for people to enjoy sexy content) but there's definitely more to the game than that; it's a genuinely good character action title with smooth and stylish combat, a cool setting, great graphics, and impeccable polish.

Of course it doesn't matter. People can like whatever they like and buy the game for whatever reason, it's not me or anyone who will block people from making and downloading NSWF content for the game. However is very clear what set this game apart from most of others in the genre. Have you tried to go on reddit and see the fandom posts? It's all about animations of EVE, kinda like if the rest of the game doesn't exist. I'm not saying they are doing anything wrong at all, they are just having fun, but doesn't change their appreciation seems to be more related to the MC looks than anything else
