Switch 1 did 507k in the US on its launch week.
So, if Switch 2 doubled that, that would give it at least 1.014 million at launch.

I have to admit that when I was able to walk in a GameStop without a pre-order at 1pm on launch day and that the clerk said they had plenty of MKW bundles left, I was wondering if that meant the launch wasn't going as planned for Nintendo. Then again, there were 6-7 people ahead of me waiting to pick up a pre-order (or buy one directly like me) at a time that wouldn't be crowded usually.

Those are insane numbers, especially for a system with no games. Right now its quite literally just Mario Kart.
A lot of videos are getting deleted on YouTube by their upset pessimistic creators this week.

That contradiction came fast. Going from "no games" to "it has the sequel to one of the best-selling games of all time."
Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.
