When will CD Project Red offer a Switch2 upgrade for The Witcher 3?

And which price do you expect for that upgrade, if it enhances the graphics and/or performance compared to the Switch 1 version?

I'm hoping it's soon! I'm always looking for a reason to replay Witcher 3. Didn't pick it up on Switch just because I was busy with other games, but I'm ready! Getting CP2077 at launch as well.

There was this notice by CDPR's Co-CEO when people noticed they'll be at SGF next week.

They will probably sell it to you again.... that wouldn't just be a slight resolution tweak or such.
You would need new assests ect, it would be like making a new build of the game.
Which costs abit, so thats not going to be a free upgrade imo.

Nah, they could go the Hogwarts Legacy route and just port the PS4/XB1 version to the Switch 2.

and iirc, they offered the PS5/XSX versions for free, so they could do the same on the Switch 2 if they wanted.

$70 for all the Nintendo players.

Nope. Next gen PS5, XsX patch was free. Cyberpunk Patch was free. Cyberpunk being on the Switch 2 is a different story. They'll do TW3 patch for good will. 

Wow. Reading the thread it's like people think CDPR are back out of good will mode, they were always a good will company with their intent but they are actively still trying to gain good will and not do any fuck ups or something that might be seen as negative. They can not do the PS5 and XSX patch for free and then charge on the Switch 2, the most they will do that is negative is not do it at all.
