FPS games.

Like SNES mouse. Make a new Mario Paint.
Point and click adventure games.
RTS games.
Sim City like games
The Sims

Tho I find it funny it's touted as some big feature when SNES had one but sure only worked with 1 game. But DC had a mouse and Keyboard and pretty much every console since DC has supported some form of it.

The difference is those others consoles don't come with one built in, so support for it and use by owners will likely be more extensive on Switch 2.

Any USB mouse works with any console over the last 15-20 years. We shall see but I feel this will be a feature few people use.Nintendo will push it for some smaller stuff esp at first like Arms motion fighting controls and that Wheelchair game but kinda trail off with few sporadic games here and there but nothing that makes it a selling point. But hey Nintendo did renew the TM for Hotel Dusk so if it brings that genre back again like DS/Wii did. All for it.

I'd be surprised if even 2% PS or Xbox users play with a mouse. On Switch 2, that rate should be significantly higher just due to it being built in and greater awareness of it.

I don't see why support for it would trail off when support for say motion controls did not.

I really look forward to play city-building stuff, like Two Point Hospital, maybe we will even get Anno in some form or Cities Skylines, whatever. Just some sort of chilling game that you only need the mouse for. I'd love that.

唯一無二のRolStoppableに認められた、VGCの任天堂ファミリーの正式メンバーです。光栄に思います。

I hope Microsoft will port Age of Empires II, that would fit perfectly. Civ VII is an obvious one too. Pikmin would work great with a mouse.

I'd love to play Planet Coaster or Jurassic World Evolution with mouse control!

In a couple of games I'd prefer touch screen, though. But mouse is at least an option for TV-mode.

I agree that the built-in mouse controls will significantly boost developer adoption of this feature.

Additionally, Switch also had USB mouse compatible games, and Switch 2 will be no different either.

I would love to see mouse functionality on Mario Kart. Like an aiming option to throw itens and swing action if they add in the future mellee weapons like a baseball bat or a chained spike ball
