Painter never irritated me, compared to the beach one...sjeez that one was annoying but must say no challenge took me very long.

Plenty of fun side content with story in them to get to, don't miss out. Some of the best levels are high level side or end game stuff and character relationship quests. I'd give ya the name of one area that isn't marked but just let ya know there is an epic dungeon in the sky.

You're over thinking it lol, you just walk off the structures to the platforms below after the first initial two or 3 jumps to get to the boy. If you jump you might kill yourself. Same as the genstral games platforming, it's really easy with Lune, you just climb gently, it's so easy as long as you don't over think it. I fell once when I tried the really big one after convincing myself that the platforming as difficult because of the logs in the first gestral games. It is not. It is extremely easily accomplished.

Feels a bit of a void want to play more but I am done, new game + doesn't sound good (spongier enemies no thanks)

NG+ is easy as piss easy when you've built right and go in at level 85 but nah, the end game isn't void, there are some great side quests, areas and bosses. Cutscenes to and relevant story bits. Plenty of stuff to do yo get you to 85 easily without a bit of grinding and take on the true final boss. The Endless tower is great, has every enemy and boss in the game in very well tough out groupings and, mhmm, chefs kiss cause it's just so much fun. At least the first 7 or 8 stages, I began overbuilding by the time I got past that and was one shooting on stage 10 apart from the stage 11 part 3 which took a few turns but they weren't prepared for my build. 

But I completed the game so did all of it so why go with New game plus?

Nah, I'm saying you should do all the end game stuff. 

I tried uninstalling the game but it's now redownloading again. I can't shake it, I love playing it but on the third from scratch playthrough and I feel like I'm wasing my gaming time. Alas, hopefully if I complete it on Expert without using heals, Lumina points or dying once it may relinquish it's grip on me.
