4K support is really nice, 1080p doesn't look all that great on a big display. Its performance overall seems decent, at least in its own 1st party offerings. The Switch had some trouble from the beginning, Breath of the Wild had issues with pop-in (especially clear when flying around the map). There's also a slew of 3rd party games that clearly shows its weaknesses. Higher frame-rates is also nice, but Nintendo's classic franchises aren't exactly the first ones that come to mind when talking about the benefits of high fps counts (with the exception of something like Mario Kart perhaps).
I was also happy to see that they increased the overall size of the joy-con and its various buttons, the original's buttons and triggers were way too small. The mouse controller is a cool feature, but I hear most who tested it complaining about ergonomics and button positioning; I think this will be a niche feature in the long run. But, again, I love the idea itself, controller innovation is one of Nintendo's hallmarks after all.
