It did not confirm whether it was planning to increase the price of the console, but speculation has suggested that the tariffs could dramatically hike the cost of new technology alongside other consumer products"

If the entire of the 24% Trump tariff on Japanese goods is pushed to the consumer it will be a $100-$150 price hike.

Another strategy could be to divert shipments meant for US to other countries.
