This is not what I mean.  What I mean is that MKW is not enough to get me to buy a Switch2 this year.  I'll likely buy one in a few years once the system gets enough games that I like.

You have to be careful as the console price could increase as time goes on. We have examples from the current consoles, and that's not taking into account the possible tariffs.

I don't have to worry about it.  Even though Switch never got an official price cut, I've seen a lot of opportunities to get the Switch at either a price cut or a bundle at the same price.  You just have to wait and keep your eyes open.  I also saw PS5's on sale in my area during the last holiday season.

Tariffs are actually more likely to create opportunities like this, because they cause instability.  I just have to be willing to be patient, which I am.  The only thing that would keep me from being patient is a game so good that I have to play it RIGHT NOW!  MKW is not that game.  BotW was that game when the Switch launched though.

Funny to see posters acting like the game has released. How about we wait until it's release before we start talking like we know everything in the game already.

I honestly like the random ass characters, can't wait to race a GP as the cactus or the penguin.

Game looks amazing, hopefully the free-roam missions are varied and exploring does not get too stale.

The Direct didn't really reveal too much I didn't see coming.
I'm hoping for boss battles or a campaign but I'm not holding my breath.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Only if they include twice as many courses, an Adventure mode and/or boss battles, will the price feel completely justified.

I just hope the free-roam will be able to itch the exploration goodness I got out of Go Vacation.

We really need a new Diddy Kong Racing, don’t we? I’ve been chasing that high for 28 years.

If Nintendo added more Donkey Kong characters and a story mode with bosses then Mario Kart World would fix that.

One of those games that reviewers panned, but players liked (64/8.0 on Meta for Wii version). I remember it fondly on Wii, it was quite fun, with balance board and all.
