Forums - Gaming - New Stealth Action Heavy Hitter?

With Splinter Cell MIA, Metal Gear in its remaster/remake era, and many other beloved stealth action IP's completely dormant at this point, a sizeable vacuum has opened up in the genre. Black State is one new IP trying to fill that hole but beyond looking pretty I'm not sold on it yet.

There's another new IP in development though that looks like a love letter to the genre but is essentially getting no attention and I want to change that. Introducing Project TH:

This is actually the least impressive but longest video of the bunch (seems to be playing on Easy mode). The channel is full of in-development gameplay clips showing off various mechanics in the game.

What do you think? Can it give the heavy hitters of the genre a run for their money?

EDIT: Proper trailer drops with a new title:

Around the Network

After Left Alive, I'll never trust trailers for this genre, it is so very different to play than to watch and you just can't feel it through YouTube videos cause it's so much about your own sense of spacial awareness in the moment. It can look cool as anything but then you have it in your hands and it's dog shit.

It looks great!  I don't know if it could beat a Metal Gear game but it's good.

I'll agree on a rare point with Hyperbole, matching the sense of aesthetics of a genre is one thing in a game definitely inspired by the classics, but actually having the gameplay part to distinguish itself is whole other can of wormz the genre seems to have struggled with since MGS V released.

These kind of trailers won't alievate this feeling unless the final actual game delivers on what's shown

The game gets a proper trailer and a new title. Announced at the Xbox showcase for release next year.

Can't wait.
