Lies of P completed.

Not bad, especially with the lowered difficulties. Going to need 2 playthroughs for collectibles though.

Oh wow, that's one feat if you're going to plat. I finished the game but looked at the trophy list and it's such a massive undertaking. Props. 

Yeah, Lies of P is an easy plat to mess up if you aren’t really following a check list. I only bothered giving it a chance coz of the easy mode and definitely one of the best games I’ve played this year. Still not the easiest Souls/Soulslike game tho, that will always be Demon Souls coz pyromancer is a literal joke.

I got to the last few bosses of that game, pre patch and I've never regretted attempting finishing a game so much. Laxasia is by far the hardest boss I've ever played in a souls game and that includes Sekiros Sword Saint. That second phase put me off from ever wanting that Platinum even with an easy mode now. 

What exactly does the easy mode do? Does it stop her attacking never giving an opportunity to get a hit in on that second phase or does it stop her flying into the air where you can't engage her for three minutes at a time... I can't see how easy mode would help in this game like in that tight little room with the phantom unless they slow time down or increase the parry window ten fold.

Lowers damage you receive and that’s it lol. I never once bothered with parry just dodge.

Well, I can see that helping a bit but not enough, a true easy mode would be tanning down the aggressive late game bosses and thinning out the very late game ares of miniboses. 

What is a good balanced Souls game that is not actual Souls? I'm kind of in the mood for one. Anybody play the anime vampire one from Bamco who's name slips my mind?

Wow…it’s already October. (And I still have yet to accomplish my ambitious goal of platinum-ing one game lol.) With Switch 2 out, I’ve been playing most third-parties off PS5…haven’t touched my PS5 since January. I do plan on playing Expedition 33 soon (hopefully), so maybe I could platinum that? Sonic X Shadow Generation is another candidate. Otherwise, I’m not sure I can do it.

I'm not sure if easy mode changes how your sprite ally functions. But I did notice that bosses can be easily manipulated to focus their attacks on the ally if needs be. That can help with bosses like this. But honestly, the mid-boss fight before the final boss is the worst thing in the game. Just ran past it on NG+ after dying like 5-10 times in a row LOL
