Platinum #28 - Hellblade 2

I actually greatly enjoyed HB2 the first I played it a few months ago on Game Pass. Was an easy purchase when it came to PS5. Really enjoyed my replay with this. Looks and runs great on PS5P. The inclusion of Dark Rot mode made a fairly straight plat on the harder end of the difficulty scale. Outstanding VA. Brutal and dynamic combat and one of the better OST makes this an easy 9/10.

Updates coming tomorrow evening. 20 monsters and a Final Boss away from FF12 plat.

Playtime 111 hours. Total active time 130 hours.

It is done; FINAL FANTASY 12 complete! I would give the Plat difficulty a 4/10, mostly just for the last 15 stages of trial mode and the Mist Walker trophy. Both are hair pulling because of the randomness or very specific setups that still wont have the win come easy. It just allows it to be a possibility, but press on and you will eventually win. Game wise, FF12 is in my top 3 Final Fantasy games and to this stay I consider it to be the last completely amazing Final Fantasy.

This time I sweeeear the next handful games will NOT be long grindy RPGS....... maybe......... I think.

Imagine hunting trophies in 2025..

God damn man. Imagine starting a sentence with Imagine in 2025. Imagine coming into a thread where people are having fun just to be rude. Trophies mean less than ever indeed but people here enjoy getting that Platinum and sharing our Platinums as motivation. Imagine paying for a game and loving it but not getting the absolute most out of it that you can. Most of us here only hunt the platinums in games we are having fun with, still after the credits have rolled. 

Also, why leave that link in your signature if this is your attitude towards account progression. 

Coming from a guy who sells pocket stamps, sit the hell down.

Platinum #29 - Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

What took me 35hrs on Xbox to 1000G took me over 3 months on PS to Platinum. IJ is truly a game that needs a certain mind set to play. Can’t even be bothered to give my opinion for this one. But overall I’d rate it a 6.5/10.

Next up, in a celebration of Silksong I’ll be revisiting Hollow Knight with an attempt to plat. Only ever played it on Switch. This could either be one hell of a mistake or .. a surprisingly nice detox from all the AAA bullshit lately.
