Fact
Elons Grandparents were Nazi's and helped raise him. He has embraced the same nazi beliefs as them. Even changing the name of Twitter to X has a Nazi background. Keep living in denial. Maybe his Maga hat in Frankfur Font popular with Nazi Germany also just a haha wacky old good guy Elon. Not to mention MAGA itself are sharing the same ideals.

Yeah, the idea that if you associate with someone then you become just like them is so simplistic and dumb but it also explains a lot about how some people live in such a bubble and become divorced from reality. Echo chambers make extremists. Reminds me of political talk shows with hosts that refuse to listen to their guests.
Still, it's interesting to watch polarization at work. With a "guilty by association" mindset in a two party system, suddenly EVERYONE is either far right or far left. Absolutely fascinating.

I run across Elon Musk's tweets from time to time and not once have I ever encountered one that convinced me he was some sort of Nazi.
| Torillian said: I don't think there's any legal issues with Musk making whatever he wants. He doesn't have an actual government position he has a consulting job basically. Besides even the president doesn't let go of his businesses so I don't see why someone in government couldn't make a game studio. Not as though those are particularly government related. edit: actually I'm curious, what do you mean by him not being allowed to create studios and manage them while working in the government? |
I'm concerned, because I've seen issues happen in the UK like that, where MP's and cabinet members have written off their own personal expenses as write offs, when they weren't supposed to, and anyone else that is an average joe isn't allowed to do that so willy nilly.
He shouldn't really be allowed to do the same. If you're working with gov, you're working with gov, you shouldn't be able to have any sort of powers that can allow you to write off any of your own ventures, or pocket/funnel any money from the gov into them.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

This is exactly why I feel this forum is going to head down a bad path, if you're allowed to just label anyone you dislike as a Nazi/Hitler, while ignoring Godwin's law.
I've already seen enough of that over on social media sites like Twitter/Reddit and hearing about it happening on Bsky on some Discord servers, we really don't need that here, let alone seeping into actual game discussion topic threads. It also doesn't help that some users are self enforcing the "guilty by association" mantra, which in turn can be an easy net to cast upon members on this forum who do not agree with what the other side is labelling/pointing fingers at, and that's when things get real nasty.
I'm also getting fed up with how regular folks, or those just left, right or center are being cited as the far side of left or right, and that isn't helping. This forum shouldn't even be entertaining extremism mentalities from either sort of side.

Good luck
Amazon and Google struggle with a regular game studio, cant imagine this being any better lol

That's exactly it. You're either a Nazi or a Marxist. No in-between.
